Charcoal, burgundy, tobacco and stone-grey mohair demonstrate how the raised roof can either disappear into the body or deliberately connect exterior and cabin.
Open when wanted.
Stored when not.
The tailored hood, three slim folding bows, front header and carrier frame form one shallow cassette behind the seats. In open-car use it Z-folds horizontally into its dedicated well. For hardtop season, four structural mounts release and two technicians lift the cabin-width module onto a low padded cradle, leaving the separate rear engine lid untouched and a clean mounting bridge on the car.
A roof cap.
Not a second greenhouse.
With the fabric-roof cassette stored, the solid painted cap stands upright in a compact padded four-castor cradle. For installation, two technicians lift it evenly—one at each side, both hands beneath the horizontal rails and rear mounting structure—and lower it directly onto the prepared car. The removable component stops at its horizontal front bow: the original windscreen and A-pillars always remain with the Cabriolet. One modest heated rear window, short rear buttresses and a clean mounting bridge complete the seasonal roof ahead of the separate engine lid.
